This Association of General Contractors “Build Oklahoma” award winning project was comprised of a 24,000 sf addition to an existing 12,000 sf healthcare clinic. Upon completion of phase 1 (the addition), phase 2 required demolition of the existing facility, except for the existing foundation and structural steel and reconstructed to architecturally match phase 1. The project team navigated multiple challenges including location/relocation of multiple unknown existing owner utilities, the new addition connected to and wrapped around two sides of the existing facility which had to remain fully operational during the construction of phase 1. The upgraded clinic includes the addition of critical healthcare services for an underserved population for the Sac & Fox Nation. The expanded services include health and wellness training spaces, new x-ray technologies, physical therapy, dental care and a new pharmacy.
